Domaine des Rives de Giverny
A house on the banks of the Epte, just upstream from Giverny, rented as a whole for up to twelve guests.
Monet’s river
On the Epte, upstream from Giverny
In 1893, Claude Monet bought a plot of land below his house in Giverny to create a pond, fed by the Ru, a small branch of the Epte river. It would become his famous water lily pond.
The estate sits on the same river, a little further up the valley, 2 km (about 1.2 miles) from Giverny as the crow flies. Nearly 2.5 acres of grounds run along the water.
The 280 m² (about 3,000 sq ft) house sleeps up to twelve, with three primary suites, a bunk room suite and four bathrooms. It is rented as a whole, for family gatherings or time with friends.
